Welcome from Rev. Dawn Vaneyk

DawnRWelcome to St Peter’s United Church!  Here, you will find a vibrant community of those who follow the Way of Jesus.  We are inspired by worshipping together, guided by the liturgical calendar and the rhythms of the cosmos.  We are energized by Christ’s mission, and you will find us serving in many ways throughout our community, and participating in  the mission of the United Church of Canada  throughout the world. We are curious, and seek to nourish our spiritual growth together in a variety of reflection groups and learning sessions throughout the year. We like to eat and celebrate together! We seek to be an  inclusive and welcoming community, considering the spectrum of age, “ability”, sexual orientation and  gender identity to be the blessed rainbow of God’s presence and Christ’s body on earth. Our building hums with the activities of mid-week and community groups.

St Peter’s isn’t “paradise” – we are humans.  But if you join us for worship, a family “On The Rock” event, a study group, or to share in a project that helps the people of our community, you will find that we are rather interesting humans, rejoicing in the Creator, learning from Jesus, and grounded in Spirit.
