Friends of St. Peter’s,

With sadness we share that surrounded by loving family and friends, Rev. Dawn Vaneyk died in hospice on Tuesday September 19. We join with the great cloud of witnesses who continue to carry Dawn, Tim, Isaac, and family in our hearts and in our prayers.

While plans are being undertaken to honour Dawn and offering support to Dawn’s family and to the community, we ask that you continue to offer prayer for one another.

In this time of grief, the sanctuary will be open for prayers, quiet reflection, and meditation during our regular office hours (9:30 am-12:30 pm). Let’s gather together in prayer and in loving memory. Let’s honour Dawn in how we continue to nurture and support all who are a part of St. Peter’s and a part of this, God’s world.

Our hearts ache together,
St. Peter’s United Church

Welcome

Welcome to St. Peter’s United Church!  Here, you will find a vibrant community of those who follow the Way of Jesus.  We are inspired by our worship, guided by the liturgical calendar and the rhythms of the cosmos.  We are energized by Christ’s mission, and you will find us serving in many ways throughout our community, and participating in the mission of the United Church of Canada throughout the world. We are curious, and seek to nourish our spiritual growth together in a variety of reflection groups and learning sessions throughout the year. We seek to be an  inclusive and welcoming community, considering the spectrum of age, “ability”, sexual orientation and  gender identity to be the blessed rainbow of God’s presence and Christ’s body on earth.
