New Horizon Updates – Senior’s Peer Engagement Project
No rest for the wicked, as they say… While the holidays approach, we continue to plan for the new year! The fourth and fifth workshops in our series of six are planned, and we look forward to your continued participation!
On Sunday January 12th 2025, Natalie Labbee, the Assistant Manager for the ParkSide Older Adult Centre will be facilitating a workshop on “Reducing Isolation for seniors”. And on Sunday February 16th 2025, Dr. Monique St. Martin will facilitate a workshop on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID). Dr. St. Martin has been a family physician in Sudbury since 2017. While the New Horizon workshops are geared to those who identify as 55+ years of age, all are
welcome. The workshops are held in the Heritage Hall, on the lower level of the church starting at 12:00 noon (ish). Snacks will be provided.
If there is something we can do to facilitate your participation, please do not hesitate to ask.
