Youth Program

Over the years, our church has offered a program for high school age youth which includes group meetings on Sunday mornings, fund raising and volunteer activities for local causes and church events.  Our youth also participate in the wider programs of the United Church across Canada including Worshiplude Weekend in February and Youth Forums associated with meetings of the Manitou Conference area churches and of our denomination’s General Council.

Themes of the program include topics of concern and interest to today’s youth, and resources from the church and community are regularly accessed.

For further information, please contact our youth group leader Stephanie Larstone, through the office administrator.

Duty of Care

Our church actively implements the Duty of Care requirements for congregations of the United Church of Canada.  Staff and volunteers who work with children and youth are qualified and screened and activities are always supervised. Further information on this program can be found at www.united-church.ca/dutyofcare.
