Summer Camp

SummerCamp

SummerCamp2For many years, St. Peter’s was an active supporter of the Camp Lorrain, a United Church Camp on the shores of Lake Temiskaming, located north of Cobalt, near Haileybury, Ontario and supported by Manitou Conference.  St. Peter's youth attended camp and volunteers from the Church assisted regularly in maintaining the facility.  A St. Peter’s Family Camp was also held there for several years.

The Camp Lorrain facility was closed in 2016. Since then, a St. Peter's Family Camp has been held at Camp Wilabosca, a Scout facility on Windy Lake, in August. Activities include outdoor recreation, worship and discussion on family-oriented themes. We support alternative United Church camps for youth as well.
